Pilsner14 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Maybe this is a question for smithy or the prez...........and I understand the Czar and FOH are one in the same......but how does the FOH products offered differ from the Czar site product. Are the Czar site product all PSP, HQ or how does this work? I see the product on the FOH website and live from the humidor selections as well as the Czar site product and the former seems like a more personalized effort. Do most members just purchase off the Czar site?? Curious like a cat and trying to understand. Thanks, JD
BatFastard Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 My understanding and please somebody correct me if I'm wrong, is that when ordering from the Czar, you're getting PE (premium economy) stock. I've had numerous orders placed through the czar website and have been very pleased with the quality. The LFTH events carry mainly HQ and PSP sticks which are high quality and the best of the best as hand picked by El Presidente himself. Either way, you can't go wrong! Just my two cents. Jay
cigcars Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Well I've been a member since 2009 and to my humble understanding the Czar IS El Presidente Rob Ayala! We, the FOH which is and are Friends of Habanos, i.e. Friends of the Habana tobacco leaf are the body, his loyal subjects. As for HQ, PSP, PE ratings, those are just quality levels of the Habano cigars you want to order. Make sense, everybody? Feel free to add in as needed for our fellow new member
El Presidente Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Effectively I pick a certain amount of cigars for FOH and Cigar Czar. When you order through Cigar Czar you will receive the best available of what has been picked. They could be PSP (rarely)/HQ/PE. There are cigars I do not pick in any month and then you will receive pot luck. Sometimes we sell out of what I pick and hence it is pot luck. This is no different to any other vendor. What I feature on FOH is what I bring in for FOH. If you have any questions, drop us a line.
