dublin76 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 No photos, no bling, just simple red shirt cc trainee working my long slippery slope to the majors. Throw all the complex pitches and strategy to the wind, just fast balls high and tight for strikes one after another. Sampling from 20+ options collected in recent months, enjoying RASS, PSD4, RyJ Short, Boli BF and Trini Reyes so far, win/loss record is perfect. CC is dominating NC...but perhaps for reasons I never thought of. Forget box codes, dates or even source (althought FOH is now exclusive trainer), fundamentals are key and education is real. Flavor, smoke content, burn consistency, ambience all carry me through the 7th inning stretch. Smooth transitions get me through the clutch and carry me home. It is the post-game that gets me the call-up...no headaches, no sinus irritation, no 2-day tongue taste, no sudden "i didn't eat enough" empty stomach nausea. Recovery from the dedicated effort is effortless. The CC experience and intricacies are worth the bullpen time, the reading, the knowledge- sponge seeking adventure. Let the journey continue. Time for another slice of cheese...and a glass or two of carmenere. Cheers!
