I am wanting to add some blue LED lights to my wineador. The light at the top won't make things visible at the bottom when it's full. Any suggestions? It would be great of they could turn off and on, but that might not be possible.

Have you looked an PC case lights? Lots of people use them for building their computers, so perhaps that would work for your wineador? Might need to get creative on the plugs, but should be doable anyhow.

I added LED Strips to my Cabinet Humidor, Will post some pics later for you, but these really did the trick. very easy to install, and you can string together as many strips as you want. Comes with a Handy Remote Control that allows you to choose about 20 colors with mulitple operating functions. Flash, Rotate, Blink, Fade etc. Really did the trick. Here is the link to the home page, but I bought mine along with the extenstions and the accesory from Amazon. About as inexpensive a solution as I could find.

Bust of Luck!

That's a pretty handy setup - the remote's a nice touch, too. Looks like Amazon's prices are a lot cheaper than the MSRP on the site, too.

Interesting. I may have to look into that.

Be mindful that almost all the energy used by anything in a humidor results in heat. Even fans that run all the time will make the temp rise in your insulated humidor. Just an FYI.

This issue Was first thing I was concerned about.. However these LED strips do not give off much if any heat. LEDs in general stay cool.
