CanuckSARTech Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Thanks all. Overall, it looks to be a nice weekend. Wasn't the nicest start though - we had quarters inspection to start off the morning, followed right afterwards by a 5km PT run, with pushups, squats, and football shuffles mixed in there for good measure. Kicked my butt to start off the day! But, just smoked the first blind cigar for the comp, and then going to a wild game dinner tonight with a bunch of the guys from my group here, and then they're taking me out for drinks tonight. Should be a good time. If I can't be home with family and friends, and I can't be out for a herf with friends from here, then I'm still in great company here on base. It'll be a nice weekend overall - I'll get to sleep in tomorrow!!!! Cheers all, and thanks for the best wishes.
CanuckSARTech Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Thanks all. Had a great time, a great wild game dinner with the club here on base, and some fun bowling and drinks with friends afterwards. Even got a sweet little video e-mailed to my phone from the Mrs. with the little guy all dressed up in an outfit and singing me happy birthday (even though he was a little sick). A nice day, overall. Again, thanks for the best wishes all, and thanks to Ross for starting the thread. Cheers.
