Started the morning out with my cup of coffee, the beautiful view of the lake,(notice "The Judge" & "The War Horse" in the background) and perfect weather and a 2006 Cohiba Esplendido:

Draw was perfect, burn was desirably slow and very even.

Taste: Perfect long smoke to pair with coffee: You could sense the aging on the stick. Very complex but the flavors flowed together very well in a mellow bliss. Produced great smoke. A creamy white pepper coffee taste was streamlined throughout the entire stick. I would have liked a little more strength to it, but nevertheless, a very great start to my day and was a great paring with coffee.

I would give it a 92.

In between these two I attempted an R&J Wide Churchill, a cigar I normally really like. It was the worst plugged cigar I have ever had in my entire life! I cut it open and there was not 1 but 2 stems in there the size of coffee stirrers. Not Cool!

Then I was at my favorite bar, The Flying Saucer on the Lake. One of the best draft beer selections around (over 100), great food, and the best patio view in all of the Dallas/ Ft. Worth and surrounding areas!!!!! The view is amazing!!!

I lit up a Montecristco Grand Edmundo EL 2010.

Great cigar! Even in the wind it held a pretty even burn. This thing started right off the bat with great flavor profiles. If you have ever had a very premium, creamy coffee flavored ice cream, with a hint of chocolate, that is what this cigar tastes like to me. Copious amount of smoke, medium to full flavor. Very clean and addicting notes of cream, coffee, milky chocolate, and wafers. It was like smoking a Cadbury Egg!!! = Fantastic! I was really looking forward to this smoke for a while now, and I was not let down. I am hooked on it. It's one of those flavors that once it's done, you itch for it, you want to taste it again, those flavors are addicting. If you made me choose between an actual Cadbury Egg or a Monte GE, I'm not sure which one I would choose, but if I lived in a world where I was actually forced to choose between those two items, I would not want to live.

I give this a very conservative 96-97.

Wow. great review, particularly regarding the Monte. Makes me want to go light one up. But, I don't have any! O well, perhaps a Montecristo Sublime 2008...got 7 of those left. Seriously, great review and pictures. What an excellent spot on the lake you have for smoking.

Great review and pics. Really jealous of that pub with the huge draught selection, wish there was one like that near me.

As for the smokes those are two cigars I've yet to try. I'm normally not a Montecristo fan but I am a fan of big chocolate flavours so might have to give it a go.
