New Cuban Marca

So I was talking to a guy who just got back form Cuba on a Hunters and Frankau sponsored trip for UK retailers and he was told that apparently there is a new marca in the works to celebrate Hector Luiz Diaz who is a tobacco farmer on the same level as Don Robaina. No mention on release etc just a little tip and a nod.

I've heard this romour a few times on the Trinidad marca being discontinued. I hope that it is false as well.

Intreresting that Habanos is thinking about a new marca, seeing that they are discontinuing a variety of vitolas from a number of marcas.

Oh well. What can you say except that's Cuba for you.

Thanks for the info CQ. Hmm, I hope the cigars in this new brand are long enough to don the 6 bands they will undoubtedly come with. Perhaps some sort of neon flashing box. I would bet my entire shelf of 10 year old LGC's there wont be a wheel of 50 naked PC's in sight.
