Tried my first one tonight,

and although I like my minutos and other smaller formats, I was a bit sceptical at first to be honest -

but I must say, what a great job of blenders and rollers alike!

All the great Upmann characteristics are there,

shortbread, milk coffee, roasted nuts around that Vuelta Abajo tobacco core. Classy!

On top of that a bit of cocoa on the nose, hints of orange zest and dried apricot which raises the profile to "Upmann PLUS"!

Medium body but medium-full flavour;

if you are committed to puff gently, 45 minutes of a truly satisfying, complex smoke.

Exceptionally well rolled, I did not ash it once with only very little remaining.

92/100

Sorry about the blurry pic.

Aren't they good indeed!

I was going to get a box of Bolivar Coronas Junior but Rob talked me into a box of these instead.

Had my first one last weekend and was not disappointed. They are the perfect size for those who have little time to enjoy a decent cigar. Managed to sneak it in while cooking the bbq. Can't wait for the next one!

Thanks Rob, that is the value of advice and why I only source my cigars from here.Very happy. :thumbsup:

Great review. I've had a couple from my box. So far construction has been excellent. Mine are definitely full bodied little buggers. Going to try to leave them for a year or so. Hoping to pick up another box soon.

had one on the weekend and enjoyed it. Was a little surprised as H. Upmanns aren't usually in my wheelhouse. Will have to pick up a 5er to confirm if I like it or not before I add it to the box purchase list. Never can have too many little guys in the humi.

Agreed. Looking forward to the RG perlas when they finally land.
