Believe it, or not, I have not had a cigar in well over a month, and perhaps longer. Although the cold weather has been a contributing factor it isn't the primary reason as I do not refrain from smoking indoors. A sinus infection and lack of time to budget to smoking are the main reasons. The sinus infection obviously effects the enjoyment because I cannot taste the tobacco, so it is pretty much a waste for me to smoke. Coming in a close second is my time constraints. As with many of us if I don't have the time to smoke a cigar I won't light one up. I never thought not smoking would be a bad thing, but let me say that it SUCKS frown.gif

I guess the bright side is that my wonderful smokes are getting better with age. I have been paying close attention to the humidor cabinet and its temperature and humidity, so I haven't neglected them.

I've gone whole winters without smoking. And while I did think about cigars quite a bit during those times, I picked right up

when the weather turned better.

As soon as you go out for that first round of golf for the year the cigars will be lighting up :cigar: , atleast I have noticed thats usually when I do most of my cigar smoking. In regards to the neti pot I have heard quite a few people say that it really helps.

Agree on the time constraints - why do we do this to ourselves?

Because we need the funds for the LFTH that Smithy keeps teasing us with!

Same here, miss them but glad there is no nicotine addiction.

My wife uses a neti pot , works really well for her.

I know exactly what you mean.

I myself on some occasion do not get the chance to enjoy a cigar due to a number of reasons and before you know it, it's been a month or two! Juggling, work, family etc can sometimes take up ones time and in my case, when I do get a moment, it's far too late to head outside (As I dont smoke indoors) and far too cold here in Melbourne. It really sux sometimes.

I wish the anti smoking lobbys read this thread... and they'd see that we are very different to nicotine addicted cigarette smokers.
