SCgarman Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Unfortunately the fact is even with 40 to 60 percent draw testing the bunches, Cuban cigars STILL suffer from inconsistent construction and you will still get many more plugged cigars than the non Cubans you are used to smoking. It is frustrating for me, that I can always fire up a Padron anniversary or an Arturo Fuente and have absolutely perfect draws and burn lines, and then with a Cuban go to draw after lighting and barely get enough smoke to taste any flavor. This is part of Cuban cigars, you have to be willing to accept the bad with the good. When construction is spot on, they are like a piece of heaven that nothing else can compare to.
Colt45 Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 I just thought it was worth commenting that the first CC I have ever smoked was plugged. And that's what the discussion forum is for. Better luck with the next one
