KB24 Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I have a buddy headed to Cuba today and he's staying at Casa Particulares. Can anyone tell me more about this place so I can give him some more information. He's headed there for a Bachelor party.
Blackham Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Casa particulares are B&B type accommodations where locals rent out their rooms for tourists. Can't help you much unless you give us the casa's name. Also Make sure the casa particulare is state approved, which should have a white&blue sign in front of the door.
Rushman Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 It's not "a" place, it's many many places, residents homes that are authorized and registered to rent out rooms. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=20.631707,-87.070558
Nino Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Hi, it's been discussed in the "sticky" Cuba thread on Global Friendly Locations. here's my contribution on Casas : http://www.flyingcigar.de/travel_cigars/2011_12_havana_casas_particulares.php Better than Hotels ...... Nino
