Monthly meets in Melbourne, Australia

Calling in all C.U.N.T.A members for potential gatherings.

There's a casual meeting of people who enjoy cigars on a monthly basis here in Melbourne which would be a perfect event for Vic members to meet at.

When?

It's normally held on the first Saturday of every month and starts at 6:30pm, going until everyone decides to call it a night (normally around 10:00-10:30)

Where?

RA Lounge

86A Collins Street

Melbourne VIC 3000

(Upstairs area in the rear of collins quater)

What?

Casual gathering of cigar lovers.

You can bring your own sticks and/or purchase from the selection at RA (limited selection).

Good selections of beverages available from RA lounge.

There are no rules, and it is a come and go as you please event. Feel free to bring along anyone you think may be interested.

The best part is its's an indoor type venue, which as most would know is very rare in Melbourne.

Only problem with Friday's is finding a venue that isn't packed to the brim but I'm sure we'll be able to make it work.

Yes am down in Melbourne on the 17th am doing a bit of work in St Kilda before returning to the city around 6ish where I could easily be lead astray.

Hey Matt, just an idea we could head out for a meal and a stick before a lounge. It will let the city clear out of the office boys. I know a great restaurant in Carlton that has no problems with the smell of Cuban tobacco. Plenty of room for a decent size table if we could get a few of us out. Just a thought.

If possible dinner would have to be around 6:00pm as my girlfriend won't make it into the city till then. She will also probably be driving, and hence be my ride to Carlton (although I would walk it).

Grouse. I'm heading into the city from the north so I can offer a taxi service in and out and around the city. As to where and how it all in the air. Smithy if you want to go straight to liquids we can hit RA or Siglo. Or some solids b4 we can head out for a feed then back to one of the lounges.If you just want Matty and myself to work it out and see what sort of crew we can get up let us know what sounds good.

I would say RA will have a few people as well, but as you suggested we should be able to clear some room.

Off memory the lounge portion of it only opens at 6:00/6:30pm though so that's something to keep in mind.

Not sure about Siglo on Fridays. I've only ever been there on Sat where it fills up quite quickly.

Rooftop bar wise there's also Tuscan Bar.

I think Tuscan bar could be a viable alternative (but for the life of me I can't remember what it's like) and is in between Siglo and RA in case either is full.

We can use it as a fallback.
