doshi99 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 All: This may be a stupid question and I will spend ever more time reading old reviews, but I couldn't find anything covering this yet so I am wondering about the spicy quality of Trinidad cigars. Recently I tried a Trinidad Robusto T for the first time in my cigar smoking career and I have to say it was very, very good. I had never tried a Trinidad before and the taste I noticed more then others was the spicy-ness of the cigar. Is this something common to all Trinidad or maybe just the Robusto T? If this quality and taste is common throughout the brand, maybe I need to try some of the other sizes as I really enjoyed it and could see it as an addition to my regular Royal Corona and PSD4 smoke....or I maybe need to smoke a few and re-taste and make sure I have my mouth checked out hahaha. Thanks all. Jason
CanuckSARTech Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 No, I don't get spiciness at all in Trinidads, especially not in the Robusto T. The Reyes has a bit more power, almost a mongrel quality to it, but still just mixed in with the Trinidad profile. No spice per say. My thoughts anyways.
doshi99 Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Thanks all. Maybe it was my whiskey that was adding that spice. I better smoke a few more to get the flavor down hahahahaha Jason
