Blackham Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 My family just returned from a trip to Havana and they bought me some souvenirs The torpedos looks fine, but the cigars from the second picture have raised my suspicion, why do they have Cohiba bands on?? Also there are 10 robustos in that box, and they have a huge discrepancy amongst wrapper color/length. I will post more picture after they got out of the freezer Both boxes are from Reynaldo in Condes de Villanueva It's my first time buying customs, so I don't know if these things are normal. What do you guys think?
cckandb24 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 so are the "cohibas" suppose to be custom rolls by Reynaldo or did they just buy cohiba robustos from a LCDH and miscommunicate with you. I dont quite follow?
cigcars Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Yep it is a little confrusin'...I'm going, "G-E-E-E-E-E those are some good lookin' Guantanameras!???"
Blackham Posted January 22, 2012 Author Posted January 22, 2012 PS. I specifically told my family to go pick up some custom cigars at Condes de Villanueva, never mentioned anything about Cohibas.
cckandb24 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 i mean if they dont know anything about cigars they could have got some customs (first pick) and then a bunch of CoRo at a LCDH. What did they say when you asked where they got the CoRos? If they were custom rolls they would not have that band on them. I mean its hard to tell from the second pic but they look good to me(as far as being cohibas) but its not a close up
