Habanakane21 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Anybody have any experience with these H Upmann Bitifarra's. I was gifted 4 and was wondering if they're ready to burn now or a year from now.

As far as I know, the Butifarra was exclusively made for the H.Upmann Humidor (sold in the Habanos Festival auction early this year). Not 100% sure though, as some of these seeme to be "leaking" into international waters.....
Nino Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Anybody have any experience with these H Upmann Bitifarra's. I was gifted 4 and was wondering if they're ready to burn now or a year from now. Those cigars look custom rolled so the question would be who rolled them, which tobacco was used and how "ready" they might be. The Butifarra, as the previous poster remarked, was made for the Festival Humidor. Picture :

aes8 Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I dont think too many people have personal liquor cabinets with pricing on the shelves. Then again....lol I missed that, a little fail on my part, but afterall this is Nino we are talking about here.
Habanakane21 Posted January 7, 2012 Author Posted January 7, 2012 I knew you guys would know what the hell these were all about. Thanks for the input. I tried Trevor website but couldn't find them. Maybe I was looking in the wrong place. I didn't really question my friend since he gave them to me...He just told me they were Upmanns and called "Flying Pig" something..They smell really fresh..so I may wait a bit to smoke one. Thanks again fella's Have a great weekend! I'm going to LA Clipper game tonight to see LOB CITY!!
sactochris Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 They sure look good to me. I really enjoy the H Upmann marca.
Nino Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 If you tell me that is your personal liquor cabinet and I will elevate you to personal hero status along the same lines as Ken Gargett Coming Monday is pharmacy cigar meeting again , I'll make a mental note to take some pictures of our liquor cabinets there, I might yet make the status I took that pic last November in a nice lil' Casa del Tabaco in HAV.
Ryan Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I heard rumours of a lot of suspect examples of these sold in the last year. As was said, they were made for the Upmann auction humidor. There would have been a few extras made for blending/tasting etc. and some would not have got through QC. I doubt though that thry were made in the numbers that seemed to be available. As Nino said, probably custom roll cigars.
maverickdrinker Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 looks like a petit salamone that reynaldo is currently rolling

Please do so. You are setting the prime example of work hard, play hard, and enjoy life. Yes I'm jealous
mazolaman Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Yes Nino, try not to over do it, take a break now and again...!
