Petaca Packaging

Hi all,

Can i get some info about how you consider the petaca packaging for cigars, and if to your opinion it affects cigars in a bad way?

I often see there is a big difference in pricing in favor of the petaca packaging, and i would like to know if it derives from lesser quality of packaging that might effected the cigars in a bad way while was kept/aged at the store.

Some of my best cigars have come from Petacas but a lot of people don't like them or say it makes the cigars taste like cardboard. That has not been my experience.

I also have found no quality difference as far as construction and flavor...That being said, I have found more cosmetically inferior cigars in petacas and tubos (green spots, veins, etc)

Agreed. This is my experience as well. Same goes for tubos.

personally, i love all the cigars ive had in tubos and packs.. theyre great.

I've had bad luck all the petacas I've ever bought had super duper tight draws that's jus my own experience
