Revisited a HdM EE from 2009 ,still enjoyable, no apparent changes in flavors nor complexity from half a year ago were detected .

Do you guys age them ? Or are they not suitable for aging long ?

Wanted to ask you guys opinion on these sticks .

The HdM EE is one of my favorites. I've got been sampling for a 50 cab over time. It's been about two years. I'm aging them and smoking them at the same time. A great cigar young, and some subtle changes over the last two years, but nothing dramatic yet.

EE one of my favorite smokes. The size and flavor profile just make it a perfect everyday cigar. With that in mind, I tend not to age them. I haven't seen much change with age.....so I just smoke 'em.

Had only a ten count cab of these, which I smoked over a period of 2 1/2 - 3 years as it is not an everyday size for me.

Did not see much development (as opposed to HdM Epicure Nr. 1 for instance) -

the slight changes however I found not in favour of emprovement.

I am personally not a fan of double robustos, but if you are, I would tend to suggest you enjoy them when fairly young.

Considering these were a 2008 release no one really knows how they will age. I have a few cabs of 08's that are smoking pretty darn good but still need time for my liking. Will be interesting to see how they smoke in 5 years. My guess, excellent. :)

My experience is limited, but I thought the '09 I had a couple months ago was good. Though I think I prefer the Epi #1 with a bit of rest.

Have had some crackers and not many dudders. I think it is a 3 year-5 year cigar. I could be wrong. Enjoying then very much and a "sleeper"

Thanks guys for your opinions

Would be interesting how they would turn out in a few more years.

Considering not being a power house , would start puffing the heck out in a few years :hungry:
