Rushman Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 My first ERDM Choix Supremes. Well aged. Full of sweet and floral flavors. Medium or just south of medium smoke. Nice stick. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=20.631697,-87.070704
Kapsimalis Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I've had about 4 of the choir supreme all from different boxes and all above a year of box age, but I was underwhelmed. Lackluster. But it's interesting that when aged how everyone says they are so sweet and great. Not that the few I've had were grubby, just meh wouldn't buy em. In my opinion anyway
hdryder Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I have smoke many of them cigars and never been disapointed
TonyV Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 It was the only cigars i've ever returned to a vendor-not czar- very disappointed in them.Won't revisit them any time soon.
stogieokie Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I've wanted to like these many times, trying several over the years, but it's just one that has never done it for me.
riderpride Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 The box I had from Jun 07 was floral, fruity and generally fantastic. I recently opened a box from May 09 that are way too harsh for immediate consumption; has anyone else experienced this with more recent production? Thanks

Thanks My Cab from '07 are bitter and harsh, but it are very slowly evolving and I am hoping to get what I want from them. might take 5 more years at this rate.
Cohiba Stevie Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Last one I had was very disappointing, so much so I wouldnt have the heart or the patience to lay them down for a while, I honestly don't see much potential in these. Just my two cents.
android Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Lovely cigars...have several PSP boxes that are all very consistent.
laficion Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I've always found them just ok, nothing compared to the Grandes de España, but they did find a way, as always, to get rid of the Grandes de España anyway
khomeinist Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Clearly not GdE territory but that is like criticizing a PSD4 for not reaching the heights of the SDC 1. ERDM Choix Supreme need several years to mature. I would say 8-15 years for best results. ERDM is old-school. No shortcuts. Buy now. Forget about them. Thank me later.
