Nice survey, Ken!

I usually have a glass of Cognac or Rum in hand simply due to the climate and company in which I often find myself smoking; however, I agree that a good glass of champagne, amontillado or oloroso sherry are more complimentary. Personally I find most Scotch Whisky to be an ill-fated companion to a good cigar, each bringing out the worst in the other in my opinion; however I find a smooth Kentucky Bourbon with a little age to be quite complimentary.

PS-- We REALLY have to talk Burgundy some time :-)

I'm game! Especially if there's gonna be Roumier and/or Comte de Vogue on the menu :-)

Well then let's talk beaujolais nouveau - the finest wines of burgundy.

You may LOL... but there are a few 'Cru' Beaujolais that are quite palatable. :-)

I'm a fan of good gamay - good Morgon, Moulin a Vent.... ;)
