Being a big fan of Allones and Coronas / Coronas Gordas I could barely wait for this release.

Wrapper colour was a matt colorado, tactile perfect, not box pressed at all,

little (barely any) smell at cold, but a sweet draw with perfect resistance right away.

1st third:

Cocoa, cinnamon, cream, toasted almonds (alltogether like hot chocolate with cappuccino-topping), dried raisins.

2-3 puffs abundantly floral (rosewater) leading into the 2nd third:

more cream, nutty, toasty, pleasantly woody (cedar and some vanilla oak), sweet spices and a kind of a forest smell: pine needles, mushroom, moist soil. Less of the cocoa, but light coffee instead.

Last third:

exotic spice like star anise, cumin, koriander seed. More rosewater! Dark rye bread (slightly burnt crust, boardering on charcoal), but still creamy. Long lasting aftertaste from roasted almonds.

Terrific cigar, 92/100, my only question is: if ten-count dress boxes are that good, just how would they behave in proper cabs?

theAlejandro, Bravo

Thanks for a great review, I really love these RA's.

I find that they have truly evolved from when I smoked them months ago.

I posted a review last Feb. and your revieve confirms their aging potential.

Now I only have 5 left but I think that after tonight, there will only be 4.

Thanks for your participation in my consumed stock.

Great review! You're making quite a splash on the forum, in a great way!

Is the stick you reviewed from the '10 release? I have some '11 ones that although pretty nice, aren't as great as many reviews proclaim them to be which I think is due to difference in age.

Yes, indeed they are 2010; and you are right about the age difference:

as far as I remember the earliest reviews of those, they were nice right away but needed about one year (which seems long but passes by like nothing, really) to be as discribed.

Looking foreward to revisit 10's in a year from now :innocent: -

if I have any left :devil2:.

Mine are from April, so in a couple of months I'll revisit the 7 that I have left :P I also have a box from May '10 that are resting at a friends place. Can't wait to try them :)
