Hey there Eastcoasters. I'm going to be in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada this weekend. I'm wondering if any fellow FOHers live in or around Halifax, and/or if anyone else is going to be there this weekend (planning to go there Saturday morning and stay overnight, until Sunday afternoon). Maybe get together to share a cigar, and get some travel tips. Let me know if you are up to sharing a pint and cigars.

Cheers all.

I am here. I was posted here 3 years ago. Unfortunately I am on my four nights at the moment and not done until Sunday Morning. The only cigar shop we have here is in a plaza called Bishops Landing. I don't want to mention the name on the forum. The guy who runs the shop is an idiot. If you need help with anything let me know

For Bars check out the Pogue Fado Durty Nellys and the Old Triangle

Too bad I'm off to my buddies camp for the weekend or I would be up for a meet . You'll be smoking outside ,no cigar bars here . There is " Smoke on the Water " down on the waterfront(Historic Properties) where you can purchase cigars and probably smoke inside .I've been there atleast 6 times and the place was closed every time. There is a smoke shop up on Barrington Street called " Seivers " who has a good selection of CC & NC .I think it's across the street from the Tim Hortons , the signage above the door is a Western Union sign. Hope you enjoy your stay ,weather looks great for the weekend.

Seivers is 2 doors down from The Pogue Fado. Its just a convenience store with a few cigars at the back

I frequent the place quite ofter and I can assure you they have more than a few cigars

Thanks fellas. ND, I have a nice stick or two for you, as I owe you for some of those career tips, if you're up for even a quick visit if it works for you in your off hours.

I appreciate the tips so far. Keep 'em coming. I'll be heading to Halifax tomorrow morning first thing, and then sightseeing from then.

Cheers.

At "The Maxwell's Plum" right now for fish & chips and some pints of Strongbow. Then, I'll be off to enjoy a cigar while checking out the old Citadel fort.

A beautiful area and city. I'm only an hour in, and am enjoying it immensely already.
