CanuckSARTech Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Hey, is anyone else noticing issues with the Yahoo Football Pick 'Em thing? During the lead up to week 1, I had my picks and everything dissappear off the system. I was JUST able to get them in, just before the wire of kickoff on that first Sunday, so I wasn't out by a whole week's picks. Well, the damn thing happened again. I just went on there, to put in this upcoming weekend's picks, and I noticed that I dropped SEVERELY down in the standings/points (not that I was doing too terribly good anyways). Well, it's showing that I put in NO PICKS for last week! WTH!!!! Since my picks were crap over the last few weeks, I just picked all the damn favourites to win, except for with the Washington game. I would have been 10 points out of a possible 13, or something like that! ....sorry, trying not to ***** and whine here.... But, is anyone else having issues here? If so, Rob is this something that needs to be followed up with Yahoo maybe with a programming issue? And/or, can any lost picks be retrieved and found somehow??

We chose Yahoo on the recommendation of members because it was a rock solid system. Can whoever is affected log in and shoot "The Commissioner" an e-mail. It is third party software so bugger all we can do from here unfortunately.

Perhaps if more people complain, something could be done. Howver, without actual evidence of your picks being locked in, there's no way to confirm what you picked. Maybe a resolution would be to be given an average score or perhaps lowest number of correct saved picks out of the group for that week?

Pian in the arse but I will take a screen snapshot of pics once they are registered each week. If it fails I have something to send them.
Fuzz AI Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 I'll drop them another email letting them know more of our members are having the exact same problem. Hopefully someone will actually investigate the issue instead of quoting policy to me. Being the cynic I am, I won't be holding my breath...
jledou Posted October 19, 2011 Posted October 19, 2011 I had the same thing happen in 2 out of the 3 pick'em leagues I am in and almost happened a second time. Both instances happened when it asked for my password after I entered the picks, entered the password and closed the tab ... and blip the picks are gone. Not sure where they went but I would advise closing the window/tab after you make your picks and then open it again to make sure they are still there.
