MrGlass Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Cigar: Cohiba Behike 56 Pairing: Sparkling mineral water Construction: Smooth colorado wrapper. A few cracks in the foot, but nothing major Aroma: Quite strong barnyard Pre-light draw: Wonderful - just a slight resistance, with hints of sweetness Opening: Smooth, buttery smoke. Incredibly smooth, but so mild it's almost flavourless Middle: Gradual introduction of toasted tobacco, but still very mild Final: Toasted tobacco slowly increased in strength through the final third Burn: A few minor touch-ups needed along the way along with a couple of relights, but overall good Smoke time: Almost three hours. So this cigar was the final of the trio for me. Overall, I was disappointed. The cigar is all class, no doubts about it. Perhaps vulgar in its size, but this is clearly by design. But where was the flavour? After my experiences with the 52 and the 54, I did the best I could to approach this cigar with no expectations, but in the end it was lacking. This cigar would have been one of the best I've smoked if it actually had some flavour. The texture of the smoke was fantastic, leaving a smooth, creamy coating over my mouth, but that was really all I had to focus on. I persevered through to the end but wasn't sad to let it die when I should have been. Nick.
cigcars Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Even just looking at the picture of this cigar turns me on into Habana Nirvana Heaven!
Smallclub Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 I have had a similar experience with that cigar. At that price it's a scam.
