TankerT Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 are those legit. I havent seen too many cello'd cc's Totally legit. His cousin's roomate's sister's boyfriend's step-brother in law works at the factory. That's why his prices are so good.
Rushman Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 the only thing that is mising are the little wooden boxes with "glass" tops that contain three or five cohibas - you see those all over the place here in PDC Mexico. Tourists can be so gullible some times. At least once per day, tourists come by my shop, see the cigar sign, and say "I am taken care of" and show me their small box of fakes. Its funny to a degree.

Do you ever let them know they have been had?

mkz Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 I´ll bet those Marlboro´s taste better in this case.
TankerT Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 I´ll bet those Marlboro´s taste better in this case. Not going to take that bet...
Rushman Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Do you ever let them know they have been had? Only if they come inside the store. I show them the big Habanos SA book and then they realize there is no such packaging.
rckymtn22 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 When I was down in Mexico this summer, a guy was selling fake cubans at a table in the hotel lobby, mentioned to a fellow that was looking at them afterward that the cigar where as fake as a $3 bill. The guy didn't seem to care as he was buying for someone else.
Colt45 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 This is where you pull out your fake police badge and confiscate the illegal "Cuban" goods. Not that I have a fake badge. Or handcuffs.
cigcars Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 In reference to the cellophane on the cigars, I've heard everything from, "I put cello on them to protect them in transit"; the glass (or better still "plexi-glass") 5 cigar wooden box holding 60+ gauge Hoyo de Monterrey large robustos...there's a new one! And seed, seed, seed showing Monte No.2's, Fauxhibas, you name it. The items in this person's box at least looks "neat"
