So How are those H.Upmann Robusto Travel Humidor Cigars?

I'm really pleased this thread has come up because it's given me a prompt to try a 2nd H. Upmann Robusto from the travel humidor. My 95 point score from last year may have been a little optimistic, but it was certainly a very good cihgar.

Cheers Mark. They did have a bit of a funny smell at first. But when that dissipated they took on a beautiful white pepper aroma. Fantastic cigar. Glad to hear others are enjoying them too!

Upon receipt of these I removed them from the travel humidor and placed them in one of my desktops to rest for a while. About 6 weeks later I sparked one up and it was absolutely delightful. Lived up to the hype from your review with trevor and ended up as one of the best of the year for me. A solid 94+. Had another about a week ago which was equally wonderful.

I can't wait until they release the H. Upmann Robusto LE which, I would assume, will be the same blend. Of course we are dealing with H.SA. So if anyone can f#ck it up they can.

Last weeekend I smoked another H Upmann Robusto from the Travel Humidor. I really like this cigar. 93 points. Just as good as the first one I smoked in 2011, although I've been a bit tougher with my score this year. My notes attached. Hope you're all enjoying them as much as me

I also had one a couple of weeks ago and concur - these are still fantastic and I hope the 2012 LE will be the same blend in different packaging.

I've had 3 so far. 2 were outstanding the other was so so. Granted I generally like most H. Upmann blends, so my analysis might be a bit skewed.

Decided to light another one. Half way through and it has been outstanding. I hope the last half is as good. Easily a 92-93 smoke at this point.

Will be burning my fingers soon. great smoke. It got a little heavier towards the later last third but not harsh at all. 93-94 all night long. Wish I could buy more.
