mazolaman Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Hi All, I lost all control, and paid full price for this LE the other day. I was looking for a Choix supreme, but the LCDH mainly stocks ELs,with a few other normal lines,at the top end,ie trini, cohiba etc. Slightly sad that there are not more lesser known brands. So faced with a wall of fat ELs,I went for this, having been recommended it by the proprietor. Uploaded with ImageShack.us The size is not one that I would usually choose, but what the hell. About 3 1/2 inch About 50 gauge. Uploaded with ImageShack.us First inch. starts like a choix supreme, with instant flavours of straw, plenty of smoke, light to medium in strength. As the cigar gets going, flavours of straw continue, with a lovely flavour and aroma of meadow flowers. The aroma of flowers is perfect. the low strength of the cigar allows these flavours to come through. Middle suddenly it gets stronger,up to medium, the floral tastes are replaced by a raw tobacco flavour. It then calms down again, with the floral flavour returning, with added tangs of apricot which makes the cigar complete in terms of flavour. final the cigar retains these flavours, while building in strength again. inevitably with these sizes, you reach the end too quickly, and end up with a hot missile in your hand. overall A good smoke,if too short. lovely floral and light fruit flavours. Like all ERDM,good to smoke when you've smoked too many rich and oily cigars. It allows the flavours to come through, without overpowering you with strength.
riazp Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 Seems like The petit edmundo vitola is pretty popular for the RE program...ERDM, Punch, Vegas Robaina, Bolivar...this one looks interesting, i would like to try to track one down
mazolaman Posted September 15, 2011 Author Posted September 15, 2011 Coughs....£15... I know, painful the size wasn't one I'd usually go for, but, what the hell. btw,the uneven burn soon righted itself.
melies Posted September 15, 2011 Posted September 15, 2011 I loved those, still going through a box of them,
