**Is that gonna be "best" as far as quality and expense, or best as far as what I was enjoying?? I've let a few Fuente Fuente Opus X's "die" soon 'cuz they just didn't do anything for me. As far as what I enjoyed...Hmm  A Monte No. 2 due to probable improper storage problems :frown:

I have had to let a PSD4 die about 1/3 in... Something I ate or drank had left a very strong aftertaste and the cigar just wasn't the slightest bit enjoyable... I remember it tasting somewhat like I imagine smoking lined paper would... Thought maybe it was just a bad stick so lit up one of my NC favs an Oliva O Robusto with the same frustrating results... At the point I just called it a night. I guess sometimes its just not meant to be!

Well not really "best" but I had to let a Cohiba 1966 go in February in Cuba as it was both too wet and too strong, not nice.

Last year at the festival we got some Behikes before they were given out at the gala dinner, the guy I was with let his go after 1 inch, saying it was too strong. Mine was very nice.

Same guy let a LGC Glorioso go, again after about 1 inch, again too strong. Now I give him PCs

Are you sure you didnt smoke the Oliva first and that was what left the bad aftertaste? Mostly just joking, I've tried a few oliva's that really weren't bad. but if thats the best that you can say about a cigar its definitely not worth the time.

Was sitting outside the Holday Inn in San diego a few years ago and stupidly sparked up a Monte 2. Too strong for before breakfast. Had to let it go or I would've been staggering in for my "Great American Skillet!"

Just this weekend had to Bail on a Cohiba Siglo VI at the 50% mark... To say i was stunned is an understatment. Was just a rancid smoke with grain alcohol bitter aftertaste. Was my Second from a 10 Box ABR 10, First smoke I recall being ok, but needed some sleep.. They must have had bad nightmares well resting. I am petrified to smoke another anytime soon. :thumbsdwn:

The closest I have had to this was when I was smoking a Trinidad Robusto T while driving to the airport. This was my first experience with a Trinidad, and it was absolutely fantastic. When I got there and parked, there was still about 2.5 inches to go, so I took my time getting my bags out and walking to the terminal. Then I stood out the front, savouring as much as I could before having to let it die and check in. Not much of a loss, but I would have burnt my fingers with that cigar given the chance.

Trinidad Robusto T

I lost my nice cutter and tried do use the inferior one that my friend had. The cut was ghastly, so I went in for a second cut to try and even it out. Every worse. Wrapper split. Sadness.
