ARRV Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Posting a photo of my cigar box uke which I finished on Sunday. Sound is mellow but I have a piezo pick up and jack to get electrified!! Also the action is really high - but for a first attempt I must say I am happy. Now to my next one

Yours looks great!! kanikapila Thanks guys I have serious UAS (ukulele acquisition syndrome) - a Kiwaya, Mahalo Les Paul, Pimico art deco, Makala pineapple, a steel resonator, and a couple of other muck around ukes - and of course now a cigar box uke I would love a Kamaka - what kind is your Kamaka?

My kamaka is a 4 string soprano. My Grandfather won it for having the best landscaped yard in his homestead in Waimanalo, HI. My Sonny D is a 8 string tenor. This is my everyday uke. Stalebread Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 I now have a whole new appreciation of the ukulele. Last night I went to a concert and believe me, you have not lived until you've heard the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain do Psycho Killer. What a treat.
