IcedCanuck Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 I was in Newfoundland for a week and when I got back I was very happy to see a couple packages have arrived! I am absolutely stoked! As soon as I opened the box my nose was hit with the most amazing smell! I could not be happier with my newest additions! Bolivar Royal Coronas Partagas Shorts I went to the liquor store and stumbled upon a bottle of Rum I have not ever been able to find so I just had to get it. While in St.John's I came across this restaurant I thought some people might get a kick out of seeing:

Geo17pip Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 you will love the zacapa, speaking of, i need to buy anohter bottle :-p Rock on!
IcedCanuck Posted August 24, 2011 Author Posted August 24, 2011 $75 for a 22oz. Alcohol is more expensive there than it is in Ontario. $44 bucks for a 24 of beer (outrageous)! Nice! I just picked up a bottle of Zacapa in Vermont. Was expensive at 49$ but still worth it...What did this run you in Nwfld?
Puros Y Vino Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 $75 for a 22oz. Alcohol is more expensive there than it is in Ontario. $44 bucks for a 24 of beer (outrageous)! The high prices are to keep the East Coasters from drinking all the booze. Those folks know how to party and hold their liquor there.
IcedCanuck Posted August 24, 2011 Author Posted August 24, 2011 Compared to what you pay in Quebec it's a lot for sure. While it is more than what it would cost in Ontario it isn't that much more. 75$ for the Zacapa and 44$ for beer!?!
bigfunkyg Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Nice BRC's! Love Party Shorts. Zacapa is awesome. Seems to becoming more available I'm Canada since Diageo acquired an interest in them. Smittys (or Shittys as I affectionally call them) is my pre and post Bomber game hangout here in the Peg. If you ever see a guy in a Bomber jersey pre or post game smoking a CC that's probably me.
