thechenman Posted August 16, 2011 Posted August 16, 2011 I'm from LA so it's random that I like the Broncos. Plus we have no So Cal Team. I hate the Raiders. When I started watching my favorite player was Terrell Davis, not Elway. Now it's Orton/Tebow. We'll see how this season goes.. hopefully, not a repeat of last. I grew up in the OC so I know what you mean about not having a SoCal team to root for...well at least not for long stretches. I flopped around a bit as far as teams go. As a kid Jack Youngblood of the Rams (when they were still in LA) lived down the street from me. That made me a de facto Rams fan as a young one. Loved watching Bo Jackson with the Raiders as well. My Dad and younger brother were always 49er fans though...I gravitated toward the Broncos in those Superbowl matchups. There was just something I liked about Elway's style. These days living in NY, I'm a Pats fan. Love the team and its dedication. Huge fan of the Brady.Belichick combo...

And I'm game for running it right through into the playoffs as well. If you want to do different prizes for different items (regular season, playoff divisional semi finals, then finals, etc., and then the main final/overall winner), then that's cool, but I think that we should definitely see it out to the end of the playoffs/SuperBowl. Got myself into the first/original group, although I had to re-create my member profile on Yahoo (it wasn't recognizing anything from my membership account from last year). Although you may be dissappointed when someone proves that Aaron Rodgers isn't actually human, and they ban him. That game last night was insane.
