Trevor2118 Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Factory Catalogue of the Castañeda Co., produces of the still current Fonseca brand. Castañeda acquired Fonseca sometime in the early 1930s and this catalogue's price list is hand-stamped 1941, so the date is reasonably tied down. http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/catalogue6.htm
laficion Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Great stuff Trevor, I'm really loving this series, I hope there's more Merci l'ami.
cigarmonologues Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Really interesting looking at these old catalogues - thank you for sharing. At the weekend I had the pleasure of inspecting (and, of course, smelling) a box of Castañeda cigars from around the time of this catalogue. Unfortunately I did not get to smoke one!
stogieokie Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Thanks again for posting another one! It simply amazes me how many different sizes they made back then. How would one ever keep track of all of them??
riazp Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Trevor thank you once again for sharing pieces of cigar history with us, truly outstanding
