mikeman Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Alright, so here is the deal. I'm looking for a smaller cigar, but im looking for 2 flavor profiles. From what I understand vanilla/cedar/cinnamon generally go together And then coffee/chocolate go together. Can you guys throw some options out there for me for each desired profile? Thanks...again
cigcars Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 A Por Larranaga Petite Corona. Ideally one a little larger than what's available these days but that seems a lost cause nowadays.
gigabyte056 Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 I would go for the RyJ wide or short Churchill for the cinnamon and ceder for the chocolate, one of the maduro line of Cohiba should do the trick. Or go for the samplers, then you can choose your favorite size and smoke the best of the best of what's available...
riazp Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Trinidad Reyes is an exellent cigar with that vanilla/cinammon profile, a favorite of mine.
mikeman Posted July 10, 2011 Author Posted July 10, 2011 Thinking about going with some RYJ shorts. Are Siglo III in the category of what I'm looking for? riazp- did you have to age the reyes a bit before they were really good?
riazp Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 to be honest, I dont knwo, they were gifted to me by a fellow botl and they were pretty good as they were, I think he told me they were from a 2010 box, they smoke pretty well anyways, beautiful cigar.
