Please, don't touch them unless you are very very drunk. :rotfl:

Seems like a crap cigar to me.

One of those cigars that sell a ton just by being cheap and available in gas stations in the US and such.

If you smoke for the flavor and the experience don't ruin your palate on these...

:P No I certainly wasn't thinking of going anywhere near them.I just wondered, given the popularity statement,if anyone had ever tried them in a previous life,so to speak, before discovering the real thing :)

The funny thing about Backwoods, Swisher Sweets, and the like is that I used to enjoy them! Years ago before I had ever had a REAL handmade cigar, i use to grab a five pack of these at the gas station to take camping and LOVED to sit around the fire smoking them. Now, I would gag on them!

I'd had Backwoods cigars before...YEARS before. As they were advertised as "100% tobacco" and with me looking to get into more all-tobacco instead of homogenized tobacco leaf smokes, I gave them a shot. So in answer to your question, yes, I've had these. And now for these days...they do not necessarily retain a "place" in my humidors!!

Same here, before discovering the world of proper hand rolled cigars, I enjoyed the backwoods and hava tampa sweets while at the bar or club in my younger days...whenever I see them they bring back some good memories, some bad ones, and some that I just dont remember thanks to a friend called tequila

In an emergency, when lots of alcohol is involved, I have been known to smoke one. The "Honey Berry" flavor is the only one I like. They are basically for when you just want to smoke something and you dont want it to take very long, and/or you taste buds are fried and your mouth is numb from some 80 proof consumption. But that said, Yes I can see how they are the #1 selling cigar here in america. They are way better than swishers or Black and Milds. It's also very hard to get your hands on cubans and I wouldnt want to spend $10+ on a cigar I wouldent be able to taste, given personal BAC. And also no, I would never think about putting them in my humidor.

That was the very first cigar i ever smoked along with a bottle of VO needless to say the ashtray over flowed onto the glass table with more than ashes the afternoon of my HS graduation rehersal

I remember smoking these as a kid when we would go bowling. We thought we were so cool! We had one friend who would inhale every puff, or at least attempt to, just to prove how much of a man he was. People would stare at him when he would start coughing. Ben just kept sitting there trying to hold the coughs back, staring down the lane focusing on the pins like nothing was happening, his eyes would water so bad it looked like he was crying. God that guy was an idiot, never knew why we would invite him out with us. Oh ya, he had an older brother that would buy us beer, for a fee. Prick!

I smoke them while driving. I save my good cigars for relaxing. If you don't expect too much, you won't be disappointed.

i'd say these are the beginner cigar for most u.s, smokers, swisher sweets were my first cigar, but i quickly moved on

no experienced smoker should ever consider them an option IMO, i wouldn't be surprised if they had paper filler inside.

yes they sell well in the u.s. but so does macanudo cafe
