good review of a cigar I've never had. I just havent had the kind of complexity you describe in a NC. Glad you enjoyed it.

I smoke a bunch of these. The 49 is my least favorite....too strong. The 55 is my favorite followed by the 77 - Shark and then maybe the 50. I've even smoke a Sand Shark which is the 77 in Camaroon. Impecable construction

I struggle to find NCs to be as complex as Cubans too. But there are a few exceptions, to my palate. The Fuente Opus and Anejos, the Padron Anniversarios.

The 49 has a tremendous ass kicking blend. Put me under the table, almost.

Still so much power even after 8 years, no bad.

Wonder when they'll turn to be more mellow. 15 years?

Nice review. I happen to enjoy the AF Opus X #4. Good hearty smoke..Almost Cubanesque (if such a word exists...lol)

I love the Fuente Anejo 46, Corona gorda 5.6 by 46. The Anejos from this past Christmas are smoking better than aged Anejo's. If you can find some from this past holiday season jump on them.

Great Review, I had the chance to smoke one of these last week, I think it was from around 2009, very enjoyable, very smooth smoke with the standard excellent construction that Fuente also has as well as an flawless draw. Not overly strong or complex, but had sufficient evolution to keep one interested throughtout the journey.

I'm a huge fan of the all AF Anejos, my favorites though would be the No. 77 and No. 46 in that order.

Very nice review and it's great to have you back! I don't think I'm alone in saying your video reviews have been missed.

Thanks CK. Been doing quite a number of reviews, but left them on my blog without linking them here as usual. Time has been tight with a new baby in the house!

Great quality on the video! I must say that I've never had any AFs before but you made me interested. Thanks for the time!
