Good day all,

Here is my first ever review on FoH, and only my second review ever, so i'll do my best. And for my first review for FoH, I figured i'll do one of my first ever La Gloria Cubana, the Triunfos Swiza RE. I picked up this cigar today at the Montreal La Casa Del Habano Event where Mr. Lopez was doing a demo for the shop. And yes I picked up a monsdale :lol3:. Back to the review, when I walked into the humidor to pick out what I was going to smoke in the back smoking area, I opted for this cigar, it looked glorious and the size was very appealing to me as it was a sort of double robusto. Well here it goes. BTW sorry for the poor quality of the pictures, I dont have an iphone 4, just a crackberry.

Opening :

Draw was exellent, a bit of resistance, the way I like

Construction was flawless.

Flavours from cold draw were of chocolate and sweet tobacco

First Third :

post-8716-1307757074.jpg

First few draws were of milk chocolate

Then in the middle of the first third I was getting a sweet tobacco flavor

towards the end of the first third I was getting honey like flavors

Very enjoyable first third, opened up on the mild side.

Second Third :

At the start of the second third I was getting dark chocolate flavours, very much like cocao

then the cigar basically turned leathery, yet very smooth and creamy finish.

The cigar really opened up in this part, with nice smoke and a longer finish.

Last third :

the last third was basically an continuation of the second third, with leather flavours dominating

towards the end of the cigar I was getting a black licorice flavour which was there till the end

Overall, It was a very enjoyable cigar, mild, smooth, no harshness to it whatsoever with a very nice flavour profile. Its a bit too large to be a morning smoke but defenitly fit the bill as a leasurly afternoon smoke.

Overall Rating : 91

Hope you guys enjoyed, please feel free to comment and any advice/feedback you can give me to write better reviews in the future will be greatly appriciated

Nice job! I will have to finally indulge after your review.

I have yet to try this LGC Suiza RE as it is selling for 23chf in Zurich. I can still get the 08 JL Maximos RE for 16chf so I always feel obliged to stay with those

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for this single?
