El Presidente Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 http://hudsonreporter.com/view/full_story/...e_minute_jersey -Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt's hand skills may have improved this offseason, as he refused to fumble what Hoboken police allege was a suspicious-smelling cigar on Wednesday. Britt, 22, originally from Bayonne, was arrested and charged with obstructing the administration of law, resisting arrest, and tampering with or fabricating evidence on June 8 at approximately 6 p.m. at a car wash in uptown Hoboken on Willow Avenue. Police say that plain clothes members of the anti-vice squad were having their car washed, and when they went inside the pay station they detected a "strong odor of raw marijuana." While attempting to find out where the scent came from, police say they saw Britt allegedly holding a brown, hand rolled cigar leaf, which police say is commonly used to roll marijuana cigars. Britt walked behind the police while still holding the hand rolled cigars, and the odor became stronger, according to police. One of the detectives identified himself as Hoboken police and grabbed Britt's left hand and ordered him to open it, according to police. Britt allegedly clenched his fist and attempted to pull away, according to police, and then allegedly ignored several commands to open his hand. Police say Britt then allegedly began to crush the hand-rolled cigar in his hand while pulling away from detectives. Police eventually wrestled Britt to the ground, and handcuffed him. Police never recovered any drugs, but the incident is being investigated with nearby surveillance cameras. -Ray Smith Read more:Hudson Reporter - Hoboken police give details of arrest of NFL wide receiver Britt
MadMax Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Usually they put the weed in a Phillie Blunt and drive around. I guess Mr. Britt uses hand rolled instead of machine made!
MoneyPit Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Wonderful.... Glad to read that our rising star WR is staying productive in the off-season.

bobsled Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 A Plaxico Burress Wannabe.....smoke at home I always say. Now if I were at a car wash and some guy in street clothes grabbed me and said he was a cop, I'd be hard pressed not to rip my hand away and ask for some ID......

Get Smithy to roll one up and give it to a pantless Ken in a blind taste test for the next video review.

cigcars Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 On my old job in Georgia I had shared some precious habanas with one of my co-workers who'd become intrigued with my hobby. He even took a cigar box and made a make-shift humidor/storage piece out of it. He came to work one day telling me he'd come home to find his young cousin with them - splitting them open and putting "funny weed" into them!!! "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!??" he told me he'd screamed at him. "Oh! You can get some more! You can get some more!" He knew not what greater treasure he was defiling with his "habit"! He could only tell me he didn't kill him! Ignorance/bliss? You know.
