Is the term limited edition used in reference of the vitals not in regular production, or is the blend typically different also?

Is the term gran reserva used to make reference to the age or specific quality of the tobacco?

All part of learning more... Thanks

Probably easiest to point you to Trev's great site for the particulars:

If I recall correctly, originally ELs were limited to the global brands not including Piedra. As you can see from the list of releases, this has changed a little

over the past couple of years to include Trinidad, Bolivar, Cuaba, and Ramon Allones.

I've no idea if there are any limitations to potential gran reserva marques and sizes, though from the first two, it seems like they are using some of the most

popular.

Edicion Limitada means "new marketing technique/scam, extra band, nicer box, mediocre cigars, mas dinero from el stupido gringos"

Gran Reserva means "even NEWER marketing, even prettier second band, REALLY nice box, very good cigars, mucho mas dinero from el stupido gringos.

My apologies to folks who actually speak Spanish :)

sooooo you're saying.. don't be a pendejo, unless you got too much $$
