luhabanos Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 This is my brand new travel humidor. I'll be testing it on a trip this Easter. I will probably make a review video of this item as soon as I have an opinion on it.
bc8436 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Nice looking humidor, and some mouth-watering cigars inside! Have you tested the hygrometer to see if it's accurate?
CBL Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 What a GREAT looking travel humi! Love the hygrometer And big pimpin' walking around with 3 BHK 52's in a travel humi How is the seal of the humidor? Does it lock with a magnet?

Love the hygrometer And big pimpin' walking around with 3 BHK 52's in a travel humi How is the seal of the humidor? Does it lock with a magnet? Thanks CBL, yes once closed, the lid is secured through a set of built-in recessed magnets but it's not a perfect seal. I use it on my desk at my office to store some cigars that I want to smoke during work. But I wouldn't recommend storage for a long period.
luhabanos Posted April 20, 2011 Author Posted April 20, 2011 Sweet humi. Is there a piece of sponge or something else that helps to keep the cigars from bouncing around? Hi there clint, yes, it comes with a leather interior velcro strap to keep Cigars in place while traveling, as you can see in the picture. But I would recommend you to fill the entire space of the humi with cigars, otherwise they may not be well secured.
thechenman Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Very cool, but I prefer the Cigar Caddy with the foam inserts to help keep my cigars from bouncing around as they get taken out and smoked.

Hello thechenman, thanks for the comment. I bought a Cigar Caddy for 5 pieces as well and I can't wait to receive it. It will take about 2 weeks to arrive here in Brazil. I'll use the caddy as a travel humidor and this one will stay on my office desk.

I have a Cigar Caddy and can't say enough good things about it! That being said I really like the built in digital hygrometer in your new travel humidor.

I'm thinking buying the 10, for smaller numbers i got DIY tupperdor which works well enough.
