I hope that our friends in North Carolina ,Oklahoma,Virginia and Alabama are safe and well

If you can let us know you are safe (I am worried about my boys :) )

Yes, some tricky weather around the U.S. and Canada midwest right now. Mother nature's playing havok with us this year - the last few years have been very concerning.

Today, we were down to -2 C, with about an inch to two inches of snow falling, around the southwestern Ontario area, and into Michigan and Detroit and whatnot. Tomorrow evening, we've got a warm front moving in, cranking the temps back up to plus 16 C for Wednesday morning, but they say this line of storms (which just rolled through NC, Ok, Vir, and 'Bama), will cause some severe thunderstorms and potential tornado weather right up this way too. We're still in "Tornado Alley" right into Ontario and Ohio and upstate New York, but it's almost waaaaaay too early in the year to have things acting up like this.

Might turn out to be an interesting year again, weather-wise.

Yes, true. Fingers crossed. I'm sure/hopeful all will potentially update on here.

Kudos to you guys for keeping your eyes and ears peeled for us all, Lisa.

Cheers.

All is well here in northern Va. Mostly localized flooding, I didn't know anything about a sump pump until moved here...thank goodness, as it was working overtime.

All present and accounted for. Thank you!

All is well in my little portion of Oklahoma today and yesterday. We did have a tornado skirt about 30 miles south of us this evening but I haven't heard any damage reports yet concerning that area. There is a pretty mean looking line of storms currently from Arkansas stretching all the way to Lake Michigan all moving to the east.

Hope all our brothers and sisters east of it don't have any destructive weather when it passes!

Scary few days. Very narrow bands of complete destruction. All safe here, many neighbors not so lucky. It will be a while getting squared away.

St. Louis got hammered last night with Tornados. The main airport has been shut down because of damage and no power. Flights should start again on Sunday.

A co-worker's home was destroyed last night, so we rounded up some guys this morning to help where we could. The worst storms to hit St. Louis in a long time. I am fortunate this time, that my home was not damaged.
