stogieokie Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 We just finished our last bottle of 2004 Shiraz/Grenache . . . I have to say that you Aussies make some damned incredible reds. I was lucky enough to pick up a case of this for something like $15 US a bottle on closeout at a local liquor store a couple of years ago. It just gets better with every sip. I also scored some Lily's Garden at the same time and it was simply SPECTACULAR!! Unfortunately those bottles are now long gone. Wow, the wife just offered me the last finger or two from her glass, so I raise a toast to the creators down under as I finish her off. Just wish that it was warm enough outside to have a nice smoke to go along with it.
lemmycaution Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Two Hands makes some amazing wine. My girlfriend isn't a big drinker, but every year I get a bottle of Bella's Garden for her birthday. It was one of the first wines that really made an impression on her.
Kangaroo495 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 We get one over here called Stump Jump. Not bad at all! But I prefer the straight Shirazes.
