I've read a lot of people talking about how Trinidads are creamy, smooth, and decadent. My experience is limited to a fiver of Reyes I bought from a BoTL on another board. I smoked three within a few weeks, and although it did have a pleasant flavor profile, I didn't get any of the smooth creaminess. I gifted the fourth to a good friend, wanting to get his take on them.

That's in the past.

I'm in the final third of the 5th one, and all the way through this little Reyes has been a phenomenal cigar. All of those flavors are showing themselves in spades. Heavy cream, so smooth, decadent. So delicious. I'll be on the lookout for a PSP box down the road.

I needed a good cigar today, and this beauty delivered.

I can think of no other cigar that can match is consistent quality. Never a burn or draw issue for me and smokes perfectly everytime all the way down until you burn your fingers. I keep forgetting to order more but you have inspired me.

Out of my 12 box, all have been perfect. the one time that I had a so - so one is when I bought a single from LCDH, the little cardboard box one but apart from that it has been a really good quick smoke!

All of the trinidad i have smoked have been excellent quality and consistency. i may not always be looking for that flavor profile in a cigar, but i think all trinidads are extremely good! ( i like the robusto t the best). im also sitting on a psp box of coloniales that im putting down for another few years

Reyes are an interesting beast. Sometimes when you get them really young they can be quite creamy and slightly sweet (no depth). Then they can go through a period of time (6 months to 2 or so years) where they are reduced to the base flavour of wood and leather. Blah - That's when i forget about them. Then one day, sorting out my humidor, i will forage at the bottom and find some leftover reyes. Hmm ok time for a quick smoke. And kazoom, you have a lovely rich decadent complex ensemble of biscuity creamy cinnamony smoke that blows you off the planet and reminds you just why you love cuban cigars...

(this keeps happening to me - i forget them as they are less than average smokes and then reap the rewards later, while regretting the 3/4 of the box i smoked too early).

I agree with frenchkiwi.

Reyeses are very good cigars. They must be always available in my humi, although I don't smoke them very often, but every now and then.. At the moment I'm waiting a 12-box to arrive at home.
