Miami101 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 No much time to fish down here: I left my home around 4:30 AM to paddle down to some of my spots. I was heading home around 11:00 AM to work on my house. Note I use soft baits no live biat! I had my FLy Rod on me, and saw some Tarpon with no takers. Here are some photos: I was happy to land this fish. She measured from my foot to almost my private parts. I'm 5/9! I'm on a Native 12>>>>if that helps with the size. Not as big, but the fight was just as hard!
DustyOats Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Nothing wrong with those fish! I keep meaning to buy a kayak and paddle the rivers and ponds around here... I should just pull the trigger. Thanks for the fishing report!
jmasterj Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Thanks for sharing Miami. I always enjoy your fishing photos. I wish the bass got that big up north. Counting down, 2 months til the kayak comes out. Enjoy!

Whodat Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Nice Fish! What kind of soft baits were you using?
