El Presidente Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Dear knowledgeable members. Not my best day today so I do not want to respond straight away I took a closer look at the PSD 4s you guys sent me before xmas and the bands look off (colour is more red and two periods are missing). The ring guage looks a little smaller than the psds I have from LCDH in Toronto. I suspect these may not be genuine Cuban Cigars. I can send a picture if you'd like. Humour me. Post your experiences in D4 and other bands.
El Presidente Posted February 11, 2011 Author Posted February 11, 2011 FAKE!!!!!'Just because you were first out at poker today
bigmanfromou Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Oddly, I was JUST reading about this last night.
kafreeman Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 OMG single cap!!!!!!! Actually the new bands look nicer than the old. The old bands seemed rather thin.... then peel apart when attempting removal... or maybe thats just the fake ones.
Sutton Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 So had the cigar in question been smoked ? Once or multiple times? Does it taste like a psd4 , honestly I think people getting caught up bands way too much.
El Presidente Posted February 11, 2011 Author Posted February 11, 2011 Oddly, I was JUST reading about this last night. Cheers for that bigman
stogieokie Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I wasn't aware that Sublimes came in a 25 count box . . . I love the date code too!! It's too bad that the box is sealed so we can't see what's inside. Catch this one while you can as the auction is winding down. Monte Sublimes
aes8 Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 There are multiple page threads about these same PSD 4 bands on other forums. In the end it turned out that all the cigars were genuine. Does the OP has pictures of the box? Was this smoked? Seems like we are missing alot of information and jumping to conclusion.
Colt45 Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Trevor shows the band difference as a supplier error. To be honest, I really don't pay much attention to this kind of thing any more. By the way Rob, I'm really liking the special edition see-through topped boxes you've been sending all my Cohiba Double Coronas in - cheers mate!

Colt45 Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Seriously, You, Ken, Fuzz....how come this village has so many idiots Touché mon frère, I can see your point - especially with Fuzz and Ken. But from where I'm standing, two out of three were asked to be mods here, which might make a certain someone, to use the latin - "Idioticus Maximus".
El Presidente Posted February 11, 2011 Author Posted February 11, 2011 "Idioticus Maximus". The name is derogatory....and yet somehow... alluring

He has a box of Cohiba Siglo VI with a new bar code on it. Bar code verification shows: The product is original from Habanos S.A. HSA: 10.9071.17.0190 Descripcion: MONTECRISTO MONTECRISTO No.2 CB-UW-C/L-12,13-n-25 Didn't know Siglo VI were also known as Montecristos......hahahahaha
