Dbone Posted May 7, 2011 Author Posted May 7, 2011 So I smoked today the Siglo IV today which was gifted and it was nothing short of being a gem. Medium to Full in flavor and strength, similar to Bolivar but a touch of honey and a smoother finish. It could have been from the age, I believe it was from 2007. The body also reminded me of the Siglo II. Lovely "wet paper bag" colored wrapper and construction. This was a very enjoyable cigar, and I do plan on buying more. I smoked it after lunch, this would have been a bomb for a morning smoke. Thank you again, Mike. Resting in the humidor is a 2009 box of Siglo III from Czar. After a good rest I'm going to sample them, my expectations are high with the Siglo III due to all of the compliments it received. So far I've found the Siglo II and IV to be keepers. Siglo III are up next, I'll report back.
maverickdrinker Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Siglo VI, IV, and II would be my order in the lineup. Just ordered 2 boxes of the siglo Is to have when time is short. Cohiba lanceros, robustos and esplendidos would be my order in the classica linea lineup.
zathan Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 I have a love-hate relation with the Cohibas. I try many other cigars that I find are fantastic and cost a lot less. So that makes me leave my Cohibas alone in the humi. Then I would light one up and it would all make sense again. It seems like they cannot age too much also. In the linea 1492 I really like IV, III, I, II. VI were hits and miss and the V I have only smoked one thus far.
