Wilkey it stopped raining here two days ago and today is the first piece of blue sky I have seen in weeks.

We have just started our wet season and it has been brutal with the state flooded. It looks like we will get 4-5 days of good weather before the rain returns.

Yes, I saw it on the news, looks like some pretty bad flooding there.

I hope that you all can stay dry until this bad weather goes away.

Take care everyone.

Cheers Guy!

Spoke to Lise yesterday. She had to cancel her holiday as the roads are flooded and no way to get to where they were going.

We should have some decent weather now for a week or so but unfortunately the flooding (inland rivers) will see most regional roads out of action for a few days more at least.

The pictures we are getting of these floods look pretty bad.

My home county has regularly suffered due to flooding in the last 5 years,so I can understand the damage, both personal and to homes.

I hope you all got out ok,your insurance companies do the decent thing, and you don't get your feet wet!

Look out for the snakes n crocs!

Take Germany and France and then submerge them.

That's how I have heard it described as to how much of Queensland is now under water.

Our bogan queen Julia thinks that throwing one million dollars at us will make everything alright.

The scale is unimaginable. I have farmer mated who have lost 50% of herds and all crops while their houses are up to their roof in water. These guys and girls are mentally tough as you have to be if you are a farmer. However I have no idea how they cope with a decade of drought followed by the worst floods in a century.
