Local Aussie lad Katsidis takes on Marquez tomorrow at the MGM Grand.

Katsidis may not be the most polished boxer but there is no one mentally tougher.

It was a war. Pretty good fight with Marquez showing why he is a champion.

It was a great fight. Back and forth and back and forth. Marquez is a tactician an Katsidis is a brawler. I agree Katsidis is mentally very tough or he wouldn't have lasted that long. I hope there's a rematch.

But to be fair.... Nobody is tougher than Juan Manuel Marquez.

Marquez/Pacman 1 says it all.

I have a new respect for Katsidis though. At the risk of sounding overly sincere (lol), I was quite moved by this boxer's determination, dedication to his fallen brother, and interesting offensive output (how he doesn't land forearms with his compact hooks is beyond me. Muay Thai training?). Really impressive. Would give him my last cigar.

In some ways, the best fight that I have seen in a long time.
