sosamscott Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 I am new to the forum and love to fish. Since this is an Aussie operation I thought I would post a pic of a nice Jewfish I caught in Sydney Harbor last year, when I was living there. Enjoy!

Yes you can and I did (although you really shouldn't eat anything fro that far into the harbor). We prepared it a few ways: Baked with rice, pan fried, and grilled. It was delicious. Nice flaky white fish, not a "fishy" flavor at all, very good!
jdeese88 Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Nice catch, although I never heard of a Jewfish. But I'm also not from Australia. To me that looks like a redfish (red drum) that we catch around here often. Talk about good eating.
