Storage condition: 63% Rh for 1.5 years

Smoke time: 1.25 hours

First cigar of the day(breakfast cigar). 10am No food or drink.

At first glance, this belicosos has a slightly toothy, colorado/colorado-claro wrapper. The nose is that sweet/honey smell typical of Habs.

Upon cutting, this SP tastes of earth with a smidge of leather. The draw is slightly loose but holds just enough pull to it.

When I first light the cigar, this SPB gives off a medium bodied blue/white smoke. Toasty and earthy are presented as the predominant flavors. As I smoked this first third, the burn became erratic. Toasted grains dominated the palate as this cigar gave way to a white flaky ash.

Second third is in-line with the first except the toasty profile meshes with burnt tobacco. The earthy/soil flavor is still present. The smoke reaches towards medium-full and as I end this segment, heavy toasted burnt tobacco takes over the soil profile.

The last third subsides to toasted oats. No big finish but this cigar holds a consistency through the whole experience.

As far as Habs go - this SPB was middle of the road. I don't like to rate a cigar by a numbering system as I feel you either like it or don't. For me I'd keep a few on hand but it certainly wouldn't be the cigar my fingers gravitate towards immediately when going into the humidor.

*I had just recently enjoyed a Sancho Panza Non-Plus, and I don't remember my past Sancho P's being that flavorful and aromatic. It was no doubt WELL aged! :flower:
