laloandlo Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 went to progresso mexico recently and a guy said he was selling cubans. i went inside and since i know so little they looked real.they were in a glass toped box of five. i dont remember the labels.

Habanos2000 Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Those cigars have never seen Cuban soil. Not meaning to nit pick, but they could in fact be "cuban" cigars, just not of the quality we have come to expect in the top line brands. You can buy real fake Cubans in Cuba if you were so inclined.

True, and you can acquire "back door specials" which are rolled using the same blends, by the same rollers as grade a cigars, but I doubt the cigars in question are even close (and I'm not trying to bring up any sore spots)
