Opinions on the Rafael Gonzalez M. Coronas Extra

I just looked into this brand for the first time today but know nothing about them. I'm curious what others think? I see they have been discontinued this year but still available. I like the size though...any opinions???

I tried the Rafael Gonzales Corona Extras after getting some good recommendations by other aficionados. I love this cigar! Medium strength, but very prominent chocolate flavor. Great draw, even burn. I have since bought 2 more boxes that are in long-term aging storage in my cabinet humidor. This vitola is my go-to smoke when I NEED a cigar, (which happens frequently, you can probably relate) but when I don't want to whittle away at my stash of other prizes.

I don't understand the thinking behind discontinuing this model, which is a sleeper, but nonetheless a great cigar. I also cringed and loaded the money gun for additional boxes of Diplomaticos No. 4 and Por Larranaga Petit Coronas when I found out Habanos S.A. was dumping these great sticks as well. Habanos should understand that not every one of us can afford to drop half the rent check on a box of Cohibas or Trinidads when looking for a new supply.

If you can get a box of R.G.M Coronas Extra, snag it quickly. I think you will be pleased.

Get them while they can still be found. If you don't you'll regret it. The CE is my favorite in the RG marca. Love em, love em, love em...

Ok, thanks....Seen them recently on sale for $118 a box. I think I'll grab one....I heard they need to be aged for quite awile though...No prob, I'm pretty patient...ha

I've been loading up on Diplo #4's too. Should also grab some RGCE's before they're all gone.

I had not heard of PLPC's being dropped. Not sure that's correct. I don't find them on the deletion lists. New info?

I love em. Did a review on one recently here. Be careful with your selection though. I only get em from Czar's normally, and they're brilliant.
