investandprosper Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Wish I was on the deck having a cigar with this bunch! Great review guys. Prez, great call having Brendan on board for reviews! He was the first to really welcome me to the FoH forums. Good looking cigar there to boot!
dicko Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Thanks guys, great review, sophisticated even. I have nver had one would like to try. I have seen and smelt a box I love the alfoil packaging
nonameno Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Hello Guys, Wonderful video revew! Naturally, it lacked a little of the 'sophistication' that Uncle Garget brings to the deck. I just received my box of R&J Cazadores from the Czar last week, and I am now even more excited to light one of these up, after their rest from travels. This is a fantastic way to start the weekend. Thank you and best wishes for great weekend to all, Curtiss
CanuckSARTech Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I too missed the dapper "sophistication" of Ken's insight. But, you guys did a great job, as "sophisticated" as it can be to pull off these reviews.
brutusthebuckeye Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Great review......how do the Cazadores age in general????
Wicky Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Reminds me of the El Credito Super Habanero I used to smoke years ago. 7 1/2 x 46. Like a big cigarette. Straight asskicker.
Colt45 Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Great stuff, guys But if the kids have just went to sleep, and the wives are 300 klicks away........ you're baby sitting...
Habanakane21 Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to review this cigar for us!
laficion Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Great review guys, always a delight I can almost taste and smell the cigars you review from here RyJ Cazadores are one of my favorites, they rarely let you down
Warren Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 sigh...warren your a tosser Not the first time I've heard this you know. My brother has tried to point this fact out to me on more than one occasion. I guess it's unrealistic to think that everyone is going to like you.
CigarZen Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 When did they start putting bands on them? ... great review gents; a good solid cigar, no doubt.
bassman Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 When did they start putting bands on them? ... great review gents; a good solid cigar, no doubt. 09s were the first year I've seen them with bands. I was quite surprised when I opened the box.
CigarZen Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 09s were the first year I've seen them with bands. I was quite surprised when I opened the box. Thanks. I did like the unbanded naked look.
Guest rob Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Good stuff! I'm not a devout R&J fan... but the Cazadores is a good addittion to a humidor.
Leopolis Semper Fidelis Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 The La Escepción de José Gener Cazadores Miramar in their day were just as good as the Romeo y Julieta Cazadores - if not better. So sadly missed.
matthew261 Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 My very first CC was a Cazadore and it knocked me for a loop. Since then I've built a bit more tolerance and really enjoy these as well as the Boli CE. To me the RyJ is nowhere near as strong as the CEs. I agree that they're not a complex smoke but very pleasant throughout nonetheless. Dove season opens here in a few weeks and I suspect this will be my choice for the field (easy to handle while drawing a bead).

matthew261 Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 So you'll enjoy a good smoke while you snuff out the bird of peace. A different sort of dove...but essentially, yes indeed...with gusto. Then I'll wrap their denuded breasts in bacon, grill them and devour them. Meat is murder...tasty, tasty murder.
nonameno Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Yes, and let's not forget our vegan friends...PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals) I'm hungry! Thanks, Curtiss
